S7E8 - David Stickler's Movie Magic

It brings me great pleasure to welcome Louisville native David Stickler to this week's program! When I first met David, he was a resident assistant in my dorm at Western Kentucky University . . .and even way back then, I knew he was destined for a bright future! After working as a production assistant for numerous films, Stickler earned a spot in the Director's Guild roughly five years ago. In 2022, he was an assistant director for "The Fabelmans", a movie co-written and directed by the great Steven Spielberg. We'll learn what sparked his interest in pursuing a career in the film industry...and more importantly, we'll hear how he got a foot in the door, and worked his way up in such a timely and successful manner.
