S5E20 - Mrs. Conrad's Classroom
Episode Notes
As students and faculty across the Commonwealth iron out their boating, swimming, and traveling plans for the next few months, we're taking you to the classroom once more before summer vacation sets in! Our "Exceptional Educator" this time around is Mrs. Amanda Conrad, a Special Education teacher from Henderson County High School...and even at such an early point in her career, she already has a resume to be proud of! Amanda has inspired numerous students to be the best versions of themselves, and she has maintained contact with many of them following their graduation. As Mrs. Conrad explains, Special Ed instruction varies greatly from traditional instruction. Listen in as she contrasts these two forms of teaching, reflects on the most rewarding aspects of her experience in the classroom thus far, and offers helpful tips for tomorrow's educators...while making us grin and giggle along the way! Have some fun while broadening your mind as you lend your ears to this entertaining episode!
