If you reside in or around Henderson, chances are you've at least heard the name of this week's special guest!! That name is Susie Sommers Thurman . . .and from teacher, to editor, to author, she has certainly enjoyed a well versed and well respected career. Thurman's published works include a book simply entitled "Henderson", featuring a collection of postcards showcasing the rich history of her home town, among several other masterpieces. Take a seat as she reflects on how she started writing, and speaks of her fruitful background within and outside of the classroom. She'll also bring us up to speed on her current series of books filled with letters sent home from England by her father during his World War II service. Happy listening, and happy reading!
