Deaconess Hospital has been committed to caring for Henderson-area residents for decades, and its foundation has played a vital part in its sustained success...so, I proudly feature an admirable asset to the foundation on this week's episode!! She is Melissa Clements, who serves as Deaconess Foundation's Kentucky Development Officer. Melissa will reflect on her previous employment background, including nine years of leadership at Henderson's United Way, and describe how she ultimately transitioned to Deaconess. She'll also discuss the mission of the foundation, scholarships it awards to Deaconess nurses, highly anticipated fundraisers, and other simple means by which we can contribute to the cause through our time and resources.
