S14E8 - A Diamond Delight In the "Derby City"

Episode Notes
Triple A baseball has quite a rich and fascinating history in our state's largest city . . .and I can think of no better person to celebrate it with than this week's special guest!! Meet Greg Galiette, President of the Louisville Bats, the Triple A team in the Cincinnati Reds farm system. Greg has been gainfully employed in the organization since 1984, and has thus seen historic transitions such as changes in major league affiliation, and movement from the old Cardinal Stadium out to Louisville Slugger Field in 2000. Come along as he reflects on these and other facets of the ball club's past, along with his experience working two Triple A All-Star Games in Louisville (1991 and 2008). He also describes the aspects of his presidency that have given him the greatest sense of pride thus far, his future objectives, and a few of the many exciting promotions that fans can take advantage of while cheering on the Bats. So take your gang out to the ball game! And, for additional information about the Bats, or to purchase tickets, look no further than the web page linked here: https://www.mlb.com/milb/louisville.
